Someone said to me yesterday ‘you should do commissions!’
I do commissions and I have for a while but apparently I need to make that fact more obvious. So: Commissions and Art FAQ!
Quick doodle/sketchy type commissions: $15
Larger ‘painterly’ type commissions: $35
Add background or foreground detail: +$15
I am flexible, so if you’re interested/curious, hit me up.
I also do freelance graphic design and illustration. For professional design and or illustration I work at $25 per hour.
What’s the difference between a commission and an illustration?
A commission is for personal use only. Basically, you can’t make money from it. You can’t put it on a product you intend to sell or use it to represent your brand/company/etc. I draw under creative commons. You can post a commission on tumblr, twitter, facebook, whatever.
When I design something for you, it is yours. I can’t use it after that point without your permission (and I will ask permission to put it in my portfolio) nor can anyone else. You can use it to represent your brand, you can use it on a product you intend to sell. It is licensed to you to use however you like.
My designs aren’t limited to ‘sketchy or painterly’, I can do logos, business cards, brochures, posters, character design illustrations. You name it.
Again, if you’re interested/curious/confused, hit me up. I don’t bite and I’m willing to try and work something out for you, with you.
You can contact me on here, via ask (on MiasmicTea) or via Twitter (@Jessssuhh) and I’ll give you my email/skype to talk futher. Let me paint you like one of my french girls!
